A Dorset first! Sonic Coast brings exciting and innovative contemporary classical music to unusual venues and simultaneously to UK wide and international audiences via live streaming. In this third concert at the Drill Hall, Meridian Brass, play new music by American, British, and Greek composers. Three of the works are world premiers.

Sonic Coast offers a rare opportunity to experience the rich diversity, emotional expressiveness and excellence of contemporary classical music, passionately and brilliantly performed up close in your own area. With five concerts from July to December 2014 the series showcases some of UKs very best young musicians performing brilliant but perhaps lesser known UK and international living composers. Each concert will be streamed live through DIVAcontemporary internet radio and can be revisited on our website through podcast and video.

Full details of the programme and musicians can be found on our website www.divacontemporary.org.uk – follow the link to sonic coast.

Other concerts in the Sonic Coast programme:

Weymouth College – 22 November 2014;

17th January 2015, West Dorset, zero theorem string quartet – [ venue to be finalized]
